  3. I don't know anything about watches .
    But my sister became really ill and she told me I could have her Elgin pocket watch .And it says Swiss ETA954122 Base metal k644 what does this mean???

    1. It means it's a much later quartz movement in a cheap base metal (brass, basically) case, rather than a product of the Elgin National Watch Company. After 1969, Elgin went out of business and became nothing more than a name and set of trademarks.
